7/7 – 24/24 monitoring (by the control room) of IT-infrastructure and applicative components
Providing first line for all and second line support for work place and applicative solutions.
Providing IT workplace equipment to end users (excl individual smart devices)

Context of the mission
Providing operational support on legacy and target monitoring infrastructure, local and remote group infrastructure
Active contributing to an infrastructure life cycle management initiative, being the Splunk logging tool
Perform analyses of the application flow, in order to Identify the root cause of any performance problem; document and propose technical actionable recommendations
Being an expert in the domain of monitoring, advising key players about efficient operational applicative monitoring and automation opportunities specially within the Splunk tool
Implement monitoring requests from the different stakeholder and develop the log collection associated on a hybrid monitoring infrastructure including legacy & cloud services
Connect the upgraded infrastructure to the private Cloud enabling operational monitoring of Cloud services
Expected skills for this role
Knowledge of logging tool Splunk.
Knowledge in Linux (RedHat – CentOS)
Knowledge & comprehension of network components (Firewall, Load balancer)
Knowledge of industry best practices for system maintenance and integration
Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and related administration
Experience supporting internet services and operational teams
Knowledge & comprehension of the infrastructure level is an asset (Physical/Data/Network/Transport)
Required knowledge / Experience
5 years of professional experience within a complex IT architecture
Multiple years operational experience with Splunk
A good knowledge & comprehension of network components
A good knowledge & comprehension of network protocols
A good knowledge & comprehension of Splunk
You have strong analytical thinking skills.
Knowledge & comprehension of network protocols TCP, HTTP, TLS, SMB
Knowledge of monitoring tools. Dynatrace
Knowledge of logging tool Elastic Search
Knowledge of Kafka.
