Main purpose of the Job*
The Key Account Manager Belux is responsible for the sales planning, budgeting, strategy and activity for Belux Key Accounts. To profitably expand our business using good business practice maximizing opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities*

Key account Management*

  • Visit Key Accounts frequently and discuss marketing and sales strategies
  • Provide good relationship between customer and brand, achieve client loyalty and partnership in order to guarantee future sales
  • Define and prepare sales proposals for the Key Accounts
  • Negotiate annual targets and agreed bonuses in line with the directives of the brand
  • Manage product/service mix and achieve budget in sales, gross margin and profitability
  • Informing Key Accounts about products, service and other developments within Brand/Market
  • Ensure all Key Account staff is trained on products
  • Enforce the relevant distribution contract to key accounts

Sales

  • Manage and realize turnover target for Core and NextGen for designated area
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets according to the sales plan within agreed expense budget
  • Manage budget margin for core and NextGen for designated area
  • Develop new prospects in consultation with Country Manager
  • Manage that most accounts become or stay Sound United accounts and sell all brands and categories
  • Implementing targeted sales and marketing activities against agreed program objectives
  • Identify and recruit prospects for enlarging dealer network where appropriate

Finance

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets according to the sales plan within agreed expense budget
  • Manage Cash collection for Key Accounts
  • Plan and carry out national marketing strategies and control promotional expense

Other activities

  • Expected to travel abroad for meetings on request.
  • Expected to travel abroad to visit shows

Communication

  • Provide feedback to and maintain frequent contact with the back office
  • Make sure that year agreements for all dealers within the area of responsibility are well documented
  • Attend monthly sales meeting
  • Attend trade and consumer shows
  • Attend product training sessions

Required Skill Set

  • Several years of experience in Key Account Management
  • Knowledge of the market, the structure and organization of clients as well as from the company
  • Strong service, customer orientation
  • Strong, confidence-inspiring personality and the ability to develop strong customer relationships
  • Product knowledge is an advantage
  • Knowledge of market research and sales forecasting principles and methodologies
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Good business sense
  • Initiative and enthusiasm
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure
  • A drivers license (car)
  • Required language skills: Dutch / French / English
